Story:
Seshat was terribly excited, as usual when it came to lure coursing. Osiris was looking as her like she was crazy, while Daggers seemed nonplussed by the whole situation. Matthew turned to Seshat after several moments of her dancing around on the spot, and said gently, "Seshat." The dog stopped and looked up at the man, curious. He caressed her head and she happily leaned into his hand.

While Osiris was watching Seshat, Kathrine took the chance to slip his muzzle on. He usually was fine with it, but getting him while distracted prevented any drama.

Daggers was still chilling out with William.

When it was time to start, everyone lined up at the starting line. Seshat was especially exited this time, and pulled and wriggled against Matthew's grasp. She knew lure coursing well and she just wanted to go chase that lure.

With the call of "Tally-ho!" the dogs were released, speeding down the grass after the pieces of white plastic that were the lure. A left, a right, another left; the drag line even doubled back and the whole way the dogs were hot on its trail. When it came to a stop, they all dove in at once and it was hard to tell which one made it to the lure first.

When William, Kathrine, and Matthew came forward to grab the dogs, Seshat and Daggers were playing tug of war with one corner while Osiris was ravishing another part the lure with his muzzle. Kathrine chuckled as she collared and leashed Osiris. When his muzzle was removed, he panted heavily, a look of joy on his face. Seshat and Daggers panted just as hard, and after a little trot back to some shade, all three collapsed, content to have a little time to rest and cool down.
